England World Cup Squad 2010 confirmed with one shock
June 1st, 2010 by Kev
England announced their world cup squad for South Africa today as the squad was cut from 30 players to 23 players.
The one major surprise was that Arsenal player Theo Wallcott missed out despite playing in the world cup warm up matches.
Prolific goalscorer Darren Bent was also left out in favour of Emile Heskey who is seen more of a team player despite his lack of goals.
Gareth Barry passed a late fitness test but it’s still unclear how fit he will be for the opening game.
